This structured, 9-day, in-country pathway is designed for people who want to move into paid ESL teaching jobs with meaningful support on the ground — while reducing the risks connected with going it alone. It’s about turning existing TESOL, TEFL or CELTA certification into a paid teaching job in Cambodia.

During the pathway
- Accommodation for 9 nights: basic, private room, private bathroom
- Intensive teaching practicum with an emphasis on actual classroom experience
- 6 hours of real classroom observation
- 6 hours of supervised teaching practice, with feedback on the first 4 hours
- Lesson planning workshops with experienced tutors
- Expert guidance from local trainers and tutors
- Cultural immersion workshop conducted by local staff
- Employment workshop with AVSE’s Job Placement Administrator
- Welcome dinner and drinks
- Scenic evening boat cruise on the Tonle Sap River
